All for One and One for All. :)

These girls have always been there for me. We have been there for every major part of our lives and the best part is, we are family and we choose to be friends. We will be there for each other no matter what. From barbie dolls to playing house. From elementary school to college. From Now and Then to Edward Sissorhands. From graduations to weddings. From holidays to baby showers. We have been through it all together and I love y'all to death. Here's a tribute to Megan, Haley, and Ashton.

Weekend.

I had the best weekend ever.

I found out that I got Labor and Delivery for my preceptorship which is absolutely amazing considering I will be doing 192 hours on that floor throughout the semester. I am ecstatic! Labor and Delivery is my favorite clinical site and I actually got it for my preceptorship! Also, the hospital I got placed at means I am 8 minutes from Ashton's apartment which means I will be spending a lot more time with my sister and precious nephew.

I had some margaritas at a Mexican restaurant with a few friends and then went downtown with my friend Mollie. It was so much fun and definitely like old times. Especially when we reminisced for two hours talking about memories and looking through old pictures from high school and early college.

I went with Ashton and Ashlee to shop for Bryson's 1st birthday party stuff. I can't believe my nephew is about to be one already! It seems like yesterday Ashton was going into labor! *Side note: I bought him the cutest party hat that says 1st Birthday Boy! He's going to look so precious at his party!

New.

Today has been so different, but in a good way. I woke up at 12 (yes, I sleep late when I can). I got ready and then I went to campus to attend my first nursing job fair. It was great to see that they are going to pay me as a nurse WAY more than my measly 2.13 an hour waitressing. Finally, my 5 years of slaving over books, attending thousands of hours of lectures, and sacrificing so much to get this BSN degree is going to pay off! After my excitement calmed down and I started remembering I still have to pass this semester to actually get a job, I went to the good ole Thomas Cooper Library with some friends to study and then attended a 2 hour lecture on heart attacks and chest pain. I came home to work on my resume and cover letter to start applying for jobs. I am officially about to be done with college in 108 days. I am so excited but I am terrified all at the same time. I don't think I know how to function without knowing that I have some sort of exam to study for or some clinical to attend. Freedom? Whats that! I guess I will find out soon enough and I am so excited for this next chapter in my life.

This week.

Moved back to Columbia for my last semester of college.

Had 2 wonderful & lazy snow days.

Applied for May graduation.

My cousin, Haley, got engaged.

I reunited with my amazing nursing friends.

I had to sit through 3 long days of class in professional wear. Us nursing students, who are used to scrubs, were not happy.

Worked on my RESUME!

Morgan, Ashton, and I came up with a theme for Ashlee's bridal shower [thanks to Alexa]

The view after it snowed. Beautiful

A 4 day trip to Gatlinburg was the perfect way to spend the new year with some friends and relax before another stressful semester of nursing school begins.

Bridesmaid.

My best friend, Ashlee Smith, suprised me one day with this piece of paper. She was inviting me to be a bridesmaid in her July wedding. After 17 years of friendship, it was such an honor to accept this invitation. I can't wait to stand by her on her wedding day.
